About Me

I'm Brooke Sommerville, author of the NIL Playbook and wife of Marcellus Sommerville—an ex-professional athlete. I have been surrounded and involved in sports my whole life. I played basketball all the way through college, and now I'm living that life with our four kids.

We're a big sports family. Our oldest, Lathan, is a Sophomore at the University of Washington and plays Division 1 basketball. Londyn, a two-sport athlete, is about to start her junior year of high school, she plays volleyball and basketball. Lawson is going into 7th grade and already loves and excels at the game of basketball, and Liberty our youngest, just started playing volleyball and basketball and is about to start 4th grade.

Right now, I currently work in County Government, but my life revolves around four things: God, family, sports, and giving back. That's why I created the NIL Playbook, to give back to the sports community in a way that reflects those values.

Oh, and how could I forget the newest addition to our family, our puppy Legend Bryant, who's named after none other than Kobe Bryant—because we're all about honoring greatness in our house!
